Worn tells the stories of clothes: where they come from, where they end up and the wardrobes they occupy in between. It tells the stories of us: the owners, wearers, discarders of these garments; and the tales we have been told to make us acquire more and more of them.
Inspired by the wardrobes of the MA Interdisciplinary Performance students of NSCD and the discarded garments processed at Oxfam’s logistics centre in Batley, Worn is a piece of devised, physical theatre made in collaboration with Complicité’s Josie Daxter.
A Complicité and Northern School of Contemporary Dance collaboration.
