My Army Parts I and II

Tickets

Tim Barlow danced in Blackpool in the fifties, went through Sandhurst and spent fifteen years in the regular army and Royal Malaysian Police. He walked away from two plane crashes, three car accidents, a sinking ship and numerous tropical diseases before becoming an actor in 1969.

In My Army, Barlow expounds lucidly on the hopes and pains of growing up in Blackpool, leaving home and acquiring ‘..the right mental attitude’, courtesy of the British Army, the usefulness of marching up and down in the rain, having one’s nose broken, the wickedness of communism and the irresistible attraction of jungle warfare.
