Theatre Making with Complicité: Kindling Connection

Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking, Stroud | 29 September –  2 October 2025

Facilitated by Complicité Associate Bronya Deutsch

A three-day workshop residency designed to reignite your creativity and deepen your sense of connection.

Creativity and our need for connection are fundamental parts of what makes us human. In the early stages of our development, movement and storytelling are essential in how we communicate and understand the world around us.

Using the tools of devised theatre-making and the spirit of collaboration that run through Complicité’s creative practice, together as a group you will return to these roots and rediscover the creative power of play and curiosity.

Now more than ever, our ability to connect – to listen, move, respond and imagine – feels urgent. This workshop offers a space to explore how creativity is sparked through shared experience and ensemble work.

This is an excellent opportunity for some re-connection and re-creation in the beautiful surroundings of Hawkwood College, and to refocus your creative practice on its connection to the living world.

Open to all: actors, theatre-makers, artists and anyone curious about exploring theatre through movement.

Booking deadline: Friday 12 September 2025
