Tom Ryalls

Following roles as a Head of Development and an Executive Director, Tom started his freelance practice in 2022. He has worked across mid-scale performing arts organisations including companies like Out of Joint, Paines Plough, Improbable, Vincent Dance Theatre, This New Ground and Zoo Co. Tom is a founding trustee of Unlimited, the chair of Graeae, a member of the London Area Council of ACE and the Deputy Chair of their Disability Advisory Group. He was an Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Fellow with Cause 4 in 2020 and his work was celebrated when he was named as one of the 10 most influential disabled people in performing arts, television and radio by The Shaw Trust in 2024. In 2025 he became a Clore Fellow, and in 2026 he published his first book “This Book is Short” about neurodivergent creative practice.
