Theatre workshop series: Call for participants

20 Mar 2024

We’re back at Third Age Project to hold a 4-part theatre and storytelling workshop series for women aged 65+.

Focusing on the themes of INVISIBILITY and REBELLION, these workshops will introduce a range of theatre-making techniques so that participants can collaboratively bring stories to the stage.

A Complicité artist leads the workshops and will explore ways of sharing experiences through body, movement, voice and stories. Refreshments will be provided during each session, with an informal sharing event on the final session.

Venue

Old Diorama Arts Centre, Regent’s Place, 201 Drummond St, London NW1 3FE

Dates

Intro session – 19 April 1:30-4:30pm
Workshops – 26 April, 3 May, 10 May 1:30-4:30pm

The workshops are free and open to women aged 65+ based in Camden.

Sessions will be tailored to the interests and abilities of the people in the room, and we particularly encourage people who have not participated in performing arts projects in the past to participate.
