A screening of Eisenstein’s 1925 film, Battleship Potemkin in Trafalgar Square, accompanied by a new score written and performed by The Pet Shop Boys with the Dresdner Sinfoniker.
The film was preceded by a montage of images of political protest in Trafalgar Square, Suffragette demonstrations, Poll Tax riots and the Stop the War movement.
Presented by the ICA as part of the annual programme of free events organised by the Mayor of London.
