Nitin Sawhney

Nitin composed the music for Complicite's production of A Disappearing Number.

Nitin is one of the busiest, most versatile, and sought-after composers today. He has made eight studio albums, for which he has received numerous awards including a MOBO, two BBC Radio 3 awards, and a Southbank show award. He has scored over 40 films for cinema and television, and he is currently creating orchestral music for BBC flagship series The Human Planet. He has performed worldwide with leading orchestras, and has composed extensively for dancer Akram Khan. His career spans production and composition work with Sting, Cirque du Soleil, Paul McCartney, Jeff Beck, Imogen Heap, Taio Cruz, Ellie Goulding, Anoushka Shankar among others. He has also scored for video games, including Sony Playstation’s Heavenly Sword and the upcoming Enslaved.
