Gareth Fry

Gareth trained in theatre design at the Central School of Speech and Drama. His work for Complicite includes The Encounter, The MasterMargarita, Endgame, Shun-kin, Strange Poetry, The Noise of Time, Mnemonic and The Street of Crocodiles.

Other work includes Black Watch (NT Scotland), The Fahrenheit Twins (Told By An Idiot), Othello (Frantic Assembly), Macbeth (Out of Joint), Babel (Stan Won’t Dance), No Idea (Improbable), Living Costs (DV8/Tate Modern), The Cat in the Hat, Pains of Youth, Some Trace Of Her, Kneehigh's A Matter Of Life and Death, Attempts on Her Life, Waves, The Overwhelming and Improbable's Theatre of Blood (National Theatre, England).

Awards include Laurence Olivier Award 2007 for Waves, and the Helpmann Award 2008 and Olivier Award 2009 for Black Watch.
