Education

Education has been at the core of Complicité’s practice for decades and we are proud to be a ‘leading practitioner of devised theatre’ on many GCSE, BTEC and A Level courses.

Led by Complicité’s Associates, who are highly experienced devising performers, our projects designed for schools offer teachers and students a chance to experience and learn about the Company’s collaborative processes which have play and risk-taking at the core.

Explore our workshops and projects for schools below, including the Digital Offer which brings Complicité productions into the classroom and Devising in the Secondary Classroom, a subsidised programme of student and teacher workshops that takes place in the Autumn term. If you’d like to see our digital devising and production resource packs, you can visit our Resources page.

From A Different Number, multiple actors move across the stage, some dressed in office attire, some dressed as nurses, while a mathematical equation is projected on the black back wall.

Digital Offer

A facilitator has their back to us and their arms raised. They stand facing four students, who are also raising their arms with concentration, looking like trees.

Devising in the Secondary Classroom

The backs of a group of students walking through a wood, while the trees are bare. One student points in the foreground.

A Complicité Journey

Students pose while devising, many with chairs held above their heads, some raising their arms in the air.
